The purpose of this privacy policy is to let users of the TTI (The Teachers’ Institute) website (the “Site”) know when we collect personal information and what we do with it. We do not use, share or transfer personal information in connection with the Site except as set out in this policy.

With Affiliates: We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honour this Privacy Policy. Affiliates are our community of schools and entities such as the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, The Teaching Council or The Ministry of Education.
With Law Enforcement: Under certain circumstances, TTI may be required to disclose your personal information by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
With your consent: We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your consent.

Whilst we strive to protect your data, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us over the internet. Accordingly, any information that is transmitted, is transmitted at your own risk. Nevertheless, once we receive your transmission, we will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of such information.
Feedback
We will use feedback shared with us to improve and evaluate the Site. You can provide feedback on the Site by using the form on the “Contact us” page. This will be sent to the appropriate staff at The Teachers’ Institute.
