Our postgraduate programmes (Primary and Secondary) enable teacher trainees to work towards teacher registration while being immersed in the daily life of one of our partner schools. The programmes are designed to be accessible for those who haven’t previously considered teaching as a career, including career changers and individuals returning to work after a break or an OE.

As school-based programmes, our teacher trainees will have the unique opportunity to build connections, apply theory to practice, and work directly with rangatahi (young people) from the very beginning, all while studying with The Teachers’ Institute.
